Sweet-swinging Orioles catcher Alex Jackson just hit a single. What’s so huge about that?. It’s his first single in any big-league game in over a year! (Since 8/17/24). He had 10 hits this year. 3 HR.7 doubles. He also has more HBPs (3) than walks (1). What a crazy stat line!

Big announcement. The BBWAA has voted to create an award honoring the relief pitcher of the year starting in 2026. As chairman of the committee that proposed this award, I'm really excited it's finally happening.

This is the first new honor awarded by the BBWAA since the Manager of the Year was introduced in 1983.
