VAR is so tribal. I know exactly on my timeline who’ll say ‘rules are rules’ and who’ll say VAR ruins football. IMO an ‘umpires call’ style system with more weight given to original decisions would be best. Overturning a call for a shoulder being offside 20 yards out feels wrong.
