I guess there was enough backlash in 2022 to make @Intuit rethink this idiotic decision. Fast forward to today, and @turbotax announced they're indeed going to discontinue #itsdeductible 10/1/25. Since I already switched my tax prep to @TaxAct, it won't be a huge pain, though

With @Intuit discontinuing @TurboTax #itsdeductible, they've made it easier for me to switch to a different tax prep software & to start exploring an alternative to @QuickBooks. Tho few users, those using it to track & port scores of annual charitable deductions aren't happy.

I feel so sorry for the bartenders and servers at this #DEN airport restaurant and bar. You can only order and pay by using the QR code on your table or in front of your bar seat. It’s a miserable and unnecessary process. However, it often seems to be the only restaurant open

As I wrote in "Sh*t Sandwich" there are many reasons you might be late to a meeting: Rude – You know you were late and you do not care, because you simply do not value the rest of the group’s time. Inconsiderate – You know you were late, but you don’t understand that this shows

As it turns out, cancelling #TDSFiber was as difficult as cancelling @GetSpectrum. 1. Cannot cancel online; must call a human to to cancel. 2. Literally 2 minutes of prompts before I was put in the queue. 3. Hold time was over 7 minutes. Good news is that the agent was

Cancelling @GetSpectrum was very painful. Made me do it over the phone. Made me jump thru hoops. Offered me 60% more speed at 50% off to stay. If only they'd cared this much about me before the call, I might not have switched to #TDSfiber.

You can't make this up: DoorDash, $DASH, is now allowing customers to FINANCE their food delivery orders. This comes as US credit card debt hit a RECORD $1.2 trillion and $2+ trillion of excess savings have been depleted. Are we in a consumer debt bubble? (a thread)

TBH, I feel like I was a bit too much of an a**hole after rereading what I sent to a potential new client this morning. They twice "indefinitely postponed" a confirmed and booked consulting visit. The 2-day visit was intended to help them get control of their digital marketing

Okay, I get it that *some* truckers keep multiple mileage logs on hand for a certain purpose, but seriously, how many paper logs does any one trucker need? The 50 State DOTs need to step up, or "Ridiculously Simple Car Selling" doesn't stand a chance of ever being number 1.

I wonder what the single-day record is for a @TSA agent to hear “You too” from passengers when they hand them back their IDs and tell them “Have a great flight.” I’ll bet it’s easily north of 1,000.

Sure fire recipe for perfect London Broil: 1. Marinate overnight in a sealed Ziplock in a red wine, Worcestershire sauce, garlic marinade. 2. Sear both sides in butter on high heat using an oven-safe skillet. 3. Move the skillet to a 350-degree, pre-heated oven for 30

London Broil, for me, brings back memories of overcooked steak doused in Italian dressing. Originally, London broil was just a tougher cut of meat, marinated and broiled. They used the term "London" to make it sound fancy. Now, the term makes me think of getting stabbed on the
