I’m probably not the only one, but seeing this makes me sad. My heart goes out to all the clinical trial participants, their families, their doctors, and the scientists who keep fighting the good fight against cancer every day. Fall down 7 times, stand up 8.

Today is special bc it’s match day but also bc it’s my dad’s birthday! He has been my biggest cheerleader since day 1, battled cancer 2x, mounted tv’s in more of my apartments than I can count, can make me laugh in any situation, & is my best friend. Shoutout to the girl dads❤️

As outgoing wellness chair for my residency program, this piece is really disappointing @NEJM. I’ve planned countless ‘wellness’ events that have brought my coresidents and I closer together, improving workplace morale & camaraderie. Dissing wellness initiatives is not the move..
NEJM has put out 3 separate pieces of anti-wellness content in the last few weeks. Here’s the problem with their thesis - duty hour limitations are not a wellness intervention. They are a workers rights issue along with low wage labor, FMLA, and maternity leave.
