Dan Hurley discusses the system and routine he’s built to be at his best consistently on game day. Sleep. Meditation. Gratitude. Prayer. Movement. Reflection. All of these are intentional wins he’s stacking the night before or the day of to create momentum for himself.

On International Cult Awareness Day remember cult leaders (abusive spiders) come in all shapes & sizes-- sports coaches, teachers, media moguls, religious leaders, bosses, intimate "partners," therapists.... protect yourself & empower your children to spot & stop abusive spiders.

2 images from my book worth 2000 words. Athletes need support to establish conditioning routines for physical, mental & emotional health. These routines must include teaching them to listen to their bodies & the value of rest and recovery. #stillquietplace #mindfulness #findflow

@thereal_icarly @rdkinder14 @NWSLtoughconvos @benjmorey @TheNCCourage I would love to speak about this in person and I am happy to do so. My point is either. You fire someone and thank them for their service so they can go on with their career. OR you investigate properly and there is transparency for all. I am still holding out for clarity.

Better to teach them a mistake ritual, to respond (vs. react) in difficult circumstances-- making a mistake, bad ref call, a teammate making a mistake, a tough loss, an unsupportive comment from a parent RESILIENCE (the ability to bounce back) IS a TRAINABLE soccer skill,
