I did kind of a lot of work over break. Which stinks. But it is making me feel ready to tackle the next few weeks, which I fear will be stressful. So it was worth it.

My favorite show as a 5th grader was the Golden Girls. This made little sense to other 10 year olds, but my parents allowed it. Ultimately I was lonely and wanted friends just like this. It was good to know that maybe we could all look forward to this friendship in our future.

Nothing is making me crazier right now than having a 4 y 9 mo old who weighs over 40 lbs riding out this surge with no vaccine. I get the rules, but keeping her protected for 3 more months w/o being vaccinated is so stressful right now.

i’m happy to have a discussion on how my prior research used mRNA therapeutics to target cancer. if you truly cared about this issue I suggest to stop voting against additional funding to the NIH, NSF, and various other organizations so a cure can be found.
1. Every single year more than 600,000 people in the US die from cancer. The country has never once shut down. Not a single school has closed. And every year, over 600,000 people, of all ages and all races will continue to die from cancer.
