I cut my hair today in memory of a 22-yr old girl who was killed by morality police in Iran and in solidarity with the movement among Iranian women who cut their hair to protest against the corrupt regime. Cutting hair is a symbolic act of mourning in my culture. #Mahsa_Amini

Science is so busy producing “impressive” results that it doesn’t pay attention to its own methodology. Philosophy scrutinizes that and highlights possible pitfalls. (I know it’s probably too optimistic a view, but that’s how I see philosophy in the sunny days.)

The charity adverts on youtube that show a real life parent crying over their sick children make me angry! I would donate anything I have to help that person if I could! Why do you make me trample my moral intuition every time I want to watch a video by clicking on “skip ad”?

Really enjoyed @KevinZollman ’s talk at Choice Group today. Elegant and practical. Kind of work that made me fascinated in philosophy years ago and still makes me hopeful of the future of philosophy.
