@DKThomp It's actually common practice at Harvard Law to pretend you have a disability so you get testing accommodations. Generally, longer essays means higher grades, so half of every class is absent during midterms and finals so they can take it with 2x the time somewhere else.

Coding interviews are harder than coding jobs because everybody is cheating and memorizing leetcode to misrepresent their actual skill level. There’s no real solution for this one other than changing the selection process. First to go will be remote interviews.

At uni, I once got a 98% on a data science assignment because the TA didn't like the colors I used on one of my graphs. This resulted in me getting a B+. My friend got a 37% on his stats final and also got a B+. GPA is a bad indicator, y'all.

@Tablesalt13 This is actually happening at all of FAANG, right now. Meta is relocating significant portions of their staff temporarily to their Vancouver office for specifically 1 year. 2 of my senior friends are being placed in company housing for a year there.
