🤩I’m beyond excited to finally share our paper! 🎉 It’s been a long journey and a true team effort. Congratulations to our outstanding first authors, @LCReimon and Ayden Gouveia, and to all of the co-authors who made this possible 🙌! https://t.co/T9sBUBixqM

Nature Metabolism - Non-nutritive sensory components of high-fat diet, such as bacon flavour, are sufficient to impair metabolic health in offspring in mice.

Thrilled our discovery of a novel sensory pathway controlling satiety in mice is featured in the General-Anzeiger @gabonn 🐭👃🍽️!

I'm psyched to share that my PhD paper is now out in @NeuroCellPress ! It's also my first paper as both first author and corresponding author, which means even more to me! 🥳 Thank my partner @ChiChiehLee_tw for her contribution to the most adorable ever graphic abstract 🥰
Storytime! Please RT/share! I am hyped to share that my PhD work is now preprinted (also my 1st-1st author paper). It was quite a journey! https://t.co/dV6H4kIPPQ It’s a story about binge eating and flavor, a short thread here: 1/n

In our first study incorporating human data we identified new role for the cerebellum! We found a cerebellar output circuit that is activated only when individuals are hungry and helps control meal size. Even more parts of the brain regulate hunger and satiety!

Grateful to @maxplanckpress for featuring our recent paper in their amazing new video! 🎥🌟 Thank you for the wonderful spotlight on our work! 🙌😄

PAPER ALERT!📢 🧠What happens to the brain when glucose runs low? Does synaptic transmission collapse because neurons are starving? Or is there another, often-overlooked cell that senses the metabolic crisis and pulls the emergency brake? Let’s talk about astrocytes! 🤩🧵👇

New paper now live! 🧠🍬 Lots of us assumed that synaptic transmission decreases upon glucose shortage because of direct neuronal failure. But... Is that really the case? Spoiler alert: No! It's astrocytes guiding them all along the way! ⭐ https://t.co/yKkoM6ZV2o

Glucose is the primary energy source for the brain, and its continuous supply is essential for neuronal function. Astrocytes play a pivotal role in brain energy metabolism by mediating glucose...
