Girls don't mature faster. Society places different expectations on girls. Parents assign more responsibilities to girls. This is why so many grown ass men only have 1 set of bedding and can only cook mince and mixed frozen veg. If they can cook at all.
Girls/women mature faster so generally age mates aren’t always ideal. Not promoting huge gaps but a few years gap is sometimes necessary.
