A lot of Canadian women got to age 70 without anything bad ever happening to them. Instead of concluding "wow, this is a statistically insane anomaly and we should preserve the conditions that enabled it" ... a lot concluded that nothing bad ever happens to anyone ever anymore.

Life expectancy will have been greatly and immediately lowered by MAiD (by definition); however, deaths from this are not qualified that way and so the number is, by design, impossible to calculate.
