Every time I read some weekend column about a boomer struggling to retire on $100,000 a year and a multi-million dollar home, I'm reminded that my retirement plan is to die in the climate wars.

I don’t understand why the minister would make this false statement. He may wish it is true, but public statement from Liberal caucus members clearly show the entire caucus is not supportive of the entire MOU.

Shout out to @SamHersh01 @David_Moscrop and @HorizonOttawa for being some of the only voices on the left to discuss remote work It’s pretty wild how few people care about a policy that massively reduces emissions, traffic and could put a real dent in the housing crisis

Is anyone in Ottawa or nearby looking to buy a Sony camera, lenses, lighting set, and stands? Or bits thereof? I'm selling the video pod equipment I bought last year, hardly ever used, because I gave up on trying to do TikTok and YouTube because I hate them.

Google offering a year of Gemini to students for free is genuinely heinous, the desperation to make money off of A/I dependency and ruin young peoples lives by offering the first hit free, making them not think for themselves so early, it's gross.

Thank god voters in Ottawa voted for Liberals who'd never fire public servants or force them back into obsolete modes of work for which the government itself is not prepared with sufficient supports like...DESK SPACE.

Terribly stupid idea that will satisfy faux-populist urges to dunk on public servants while simultaneously making the lives of public servants and the service itself so much worse. Goofy stuff.

In a democracy, it's actually good to hold the government to account. The government is the one in power. They're the ones who may affect who wins, who loses, who suffers, who thrives. They can lock you up. They can side with fascists or not. So, yes, important to criticize.
