Lib Dems to push for cross-party talks on tackling social care

We won’t be playing party political games. It is time for proper, cross-party talks on social care funding, where tough but essential decisions are needed. We will also make sure that carers cannot be forgotten again by people in power.

The MP with the biggest personal mandate is Tim Farron for the Liberal Democrats who received 31,061 votes on 62.7% of the vote. This is a stark contrast to 2019 where plenty of candidates were (under new boundaries) getting 30k plus votes quite often.

Final results count just came through. Lib Dems won back Charles Kennedy's old Inverness, Skye and West Ross-shire seat from the SNP.
