One for @Specsavers.
Dinghies coming into Great Yarmouth, RIGHT NOW. Authorities alerted, and I am urgently chasing. If these are illegal migrants, I will be using every tool at my disposal to ensure these individuals are deported. Enough is enough. Britain needs mass deportations. NOW.

Fabulous new twist on cycling - "should cyclists pay a tax to fund cycling infrastructure?".I know journos thrive on a debate but this is nuts. Do you not think that cyclists (using bike lanes on their way to work) are not already taxpayers?.BTW there's no road tax for drivers 😉.
Also 10am - 1pm on @TimesRadio I’ve got @williamhanson discussing the etiquette of Out of Office messages. And @whippletom and @benclatworthy will debate the thorny issue of whether cyclists should pay some sort of tax to fund all those cycle lanes….Do tune in!

You are describing the worst examples of the chattering classes who need to create clicks to bring in the cash. I don't listen to/read them. I have two fabulous jobs that bring me into contact with lively & lovely people. I need no more evidence.
Anyone else a bit fed up with columnists - British, established voices - telling us repeatedly how rubbish Britain is to live in, when they don't actually deign to live here at all? But whinge from Portugal, Dubai, USA, Israel?.
