Yday, we held our 108th AGM at @WellingtonTrust reflecting on 2024’s impact & future goals. We were honoured to have @Nus_Ghani deliver a keynote on the vital need for seafarer mental health support & HRH The Duke of Edinburgh present The President Awards.

For the first time EVER, there will be no dark blue uniform amongst the 6 Chiefs in @DefenceHQ. A naval officer has been 1SL since the post was created in 1689 and titled Senior Naval Lord. Does this mean the next VCDS is likely to be dark blue?? 🤷🏻♂️ 3 x Army; 2 x RAF; 1 x RM.
🚨 Air Chief Marshal Sir Richard Knighton has been picked as the next Chief of Defence Staff. He beat Roly Walker to the job. A career engineer, with a 1st Class degree from Cambridge, Knighton was the first non-pilot to lead the RAF. He will now command all 3 services via MSHQ
