To celebrate England Women’s spectacular success in Euro 2025, the flag of England will remain flying at the Convent on Monday. Against a very strong Spanish team, England prevailed and deserve our heartfelt congratulations 🏴.

I bade farewell to Major Dominic Collado, on his final call on leaving the Royal Gibraltar Regiment and after 6 years as the ADC to the Governor. I am deeply grateful for his many years of service and wish him the very best and I commend him unreservedly to any future employer.

On Armed Forces Day, I would like to pay tribute to the Armed Forces for their loyalty, courage and selfless commitment. This includes all personnel currently serving (Regulars and Reserves), along with veterans and cadets and their families who support them. 1/2

The Convent lowered its flags to half mast for the late Sir Derek Reffell who was Governor in Gibraltar from 1989 to 1993.

The late Governor, Admiral Sir Derek Reffell, will have his funeral on Thursday 26 June 2025. The flags at The Convent will be at half mast to mark this occasion. The service will be livestreamed at 11:00 for anyone who wishes to watch online here -
