It was a great fight to watch, at times close to call but Usyk absolutely won hands down. It was like watching a Rocky film at times or a biblical remake of David and Goliath. Sport is hard

Great news for #Sunderland and for freelance employment in the north east. As a partner of @Fulwell73 and working with friends and skills providers such as @gatesheadcoll and @NCLCollege , @EPNorthEast will play a key role in coordinating a technical skills response .
£25million has been confirmed for Crown Works Studio, set to create 8000 jobs thanks to Labour's budget. This is the investment Sunderland needs.

Congratulations to @17Nineteen on the news of their extension. We're so pleased to see this excellent programme continue for the benefit of the city and our communities.
We are pleased to announce that Seventeen Nineteen has been granted an extension by the National lottery heritage fund until March 2025. While the funded activity programme is complete, the extension will be focused on developing an operating model for April 2025 onwards.
