Interesting approach. From sequence to structure, we generally think it is learning the interactions and folding cores of protein residues. From structure to predict sequence, what is being learned? The space fulfillment ability of each residue? 🤔.

Another TRPV4-RhoA work by @AlexanderSobol6 group also went online today, demonstrating RhoA binding interface plus ligand HC-067047. Efforts are emerging together and glad to know more ligand binds in VSLD

In our recent TRPV4 work collaborated among 3 labs, we studied TRPV4-RhoA binding, binding of 3 drugs - GSK2798745 (w/ 4 clinical trials), GSK1016790A, 4a-PDD, and the modulation mechanisms. Happy to be part of the work!

My first cryo-EM structure paper is finally published!. We show the molecular architecture of the first ion channel-Gα (not Gβγ) complex, TRPC5-Gαi3, and its function with PIP2.

Our review of @CharmmGui Membrane Builder is now out! We read > 1600 papers that used Memb Builder and summarized the applications. My biggest takeaway is that everything from DNA transfection to SNARE vesicle infusion to nanopore sequencing can now be studied in simulations🔬.
