Honestly, it's embarrassing that the NFL couldn't have people at their awards show who could pronounce the names of the winners. Some may laugh at it, but it's disrespectful when someone wins a major award and the person reading the name doesn't care enough to get it right.

Nick Emmanwori missed out on Defensive Rookie of the Year honors. Went to Carson Schwesinger instead. Seahawks award nominees are 0 for 3 at NFL Honors so far. JSN still up for Offensive Player of the Year though, and he has a good shot at winning.

I'm teaching a class of high school freshman today. A conversation came about what songs they remember from when they were small children. The overwhelming favorite answer was "Thrift Shop" by Macklemore. These children were born in 2011.
