The events of last night do not define Harehills. Countless good people were out calming the disorder which must not be overlooked. Today we have come together as a community to ensure we do not see a repeat of last nights distressing scenes. #Harehills

I’ve been asked to say something on last night in #Harehills in the context of the vitriol against us as Muslims who live here. We all live here together really well, considering the vibrant mix of communities who are residing in of the most densely populated areas of Europe.

Our board member Sher Azam Sahib & Ishtiaq Ahmed pay tribute to Pir Mahroof Sahib’s impact and legacy in Bradford on @BBCLookNorth. Pir Mahroof Sahib notably led on building the first ever mosque in Bradford.

Today marks 2 years since my stroke, and I visited the hospital to reflect on this journey. It was a pleasant surprise to run into @Mel_Pickup. I also went to visit the #ward6 and #ICU unit to express my deep gratitude for the exceptional care I received. @_Sajaz
