Went for a costa coffee this morning with a friend and colleague. Everything is fine till a baby on the next table starts choking on their crispy cake blocking their airway. First aid administered and the little fella is good and acting like nothing has happened

Today I did a talk to reception at school. Favourite question last year “have you ever tasered anyone in the eyeball?” This year, when I got the handcuffs out and asked if they knew what they were, one pupil says “handcuffs, my mum has got some” Teachers and I were in hysterics😗

So I have to report a deception crime!My two young sons had their school photos taken and for the sibling photo they convinced the teacher and staff they had a step brother from the yr below. I’ve now received a copy of said photo! With my two and new step son!

I completed 21 yrs in the job yesterday and my mum showed me this picture from my attestation back in 1999 with my extremely proud Dad (RIP). It’s been a good 21 yrs with many amazing and good stories and a few not so good! 👮♂️🤣 I’m sure more to follow as it’s a job like no other

Today I was working a public order duty, in at 6am. Completed 8000 steps in the rain by 10am when I got chance to grab a McDonald’s drive thru with my colleague. We went to pay but the car in front had paid for our breakfast, thank you so much. A lovely treat much appreciated 👍

was run last night for over 50 specials with guests speakers from 10 depts giving a dragons den style pitch of what they do and why they would like specials to assist them. A great example of the increased value of specials and working as one team 👌
