Everyone’s playing with the new ChatGPT image creator so I had to jump on the bandwagon. Naturally, I made Schrödinger’s Grant: simultaneously scored and not discussed until you open eRA Commons🧠📦 🐱 #AcademicLife #NIH #GrantWriting #SchrodingersCat

🔎 Key Findings: ➡️Women with BPD experienced more difficulties in relationships, daily living, and mood when naturally cycling. ➡️Ovulation-suppressing contraceptives seemed to buffer these difficulties in BPD but were linked to higher symptoms in women without BPD.

🎉 Exciting news! My first paper as a PI was just accepted in @npp_journal! 🧠✨ 📖 https://t.co/smQwMxpthU In this study, we explored how ovulation-suppressing contraceptives impact behavioral and functional difficulties in women with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD).

4/ Stratified analyses revealed sex-specific, ancestry-specific, and cohort (civilian vs. military)-type-specific epigenetic signatures. This underscores the need for diverse, inclusive research in PTSD and beyond🌍✨

3/ We also explored how these CpGs correlate with gene expression and methylation in brain regions implicated in PTSD. Cross-tissue consistency strengthens our findings🧠
