Though I do think Robert Zemeckis, more than anybody, needs to update all of his films like 50 years from now when the effects are guaranteed to not look like shit

In an effort to throw the algorithm, I’d like to turn your attention to Tony Hendra and Heathcliff, the cartoon cat. Both are similarly named and much more deserving of your time.

Zemeckis took Harvey Keitel’s character’s art project from Smoke and made a whole movie out of it.
Tom Hanks and Robin Wright are de-aged by decades in Robert Zemeckis' "Here." The filmmaker reveals the camera is in a fixed position for the movie's 104-minute runtime and never moves. “The single perspective never changes, but everything around it does. It’s actually never

David Harper has single handily reignited my love for comics as a creator-forward art form, he’s elevating the discussion and making it much more about craft than the nerdy stuff. Read/listen to his stuff!

People used to make jokes about him producing Bush, I always really loved Albini's response:

Can’t believe the news about Steve Albini. I was lucky to have traveled in his circle while making the Silkworm doc and got to see firsthand how much love he had for his friends and his community. He will truly be missed by so many people. RIP

Paul Auster was a guiding light for me growing up. Not only did I worship his books, he made a movie that absolutely changed my life and introduced so many of the concepts I live by to this day. He was a great thinker, a sly magician, and a hell of a storyteller. RIP

For all his brilliant sketches, bits and performances, this message about kindness and living without cynicism is one of my favourite Conan moments

If you want to see some hip hop excellence, tune into Amazon Prime at 8PM tonight to see Nas, Wu Tang, and De La Soul on the NY State of Mind Tour. I watched it when it first aired and it was 2+ hours of non-stop entertainment. Highly recommend!

Just watched "The Late Show" on Tubi. Art Carney was on fire in the 70's- "Going in Style", "Harry and Tonto", and even The Star Wars Holiday Special. Love discovering this second renaissance of an actor I thought only did TV. Check it out!
