Victims of #stalking & intimate partner #domesticabuse are getting younger. Elianne was only 15 when murdered by her ex. Funding needs to be given to #stalking charities so we can work with under 16s to prevent #femicide & #VAWG. Our hearts go out to her friends & family.
SENTENCED: On 27 September 2023, Elianne Andam, 15, was stabbed to death at a bus stop in Croydon. Her friend’s ex-partner, Hassan Sentamu, 17, has been found guilty of murder and sentenced to a minimum of 23 years.

We really hope this will make a difference to our traumatised clients. No one wants to be told they’re going to Court in 2026 or 2027 which is the case for some #stalking victims. Of course they withdraw. This could make a difference. @MoJGovUK @LDNVictimsComm.
