The part that a lot of people don’t get is the Super Bowl half time show isn’t a concert it’s supposed to be a performance. Just throwing out artists to sing their songs is exactly what it’s not supposed to be. It ain’t that deep or hard to grasp.

Asked Briere re: a possible bad first impression Tocchet had of Michkov, & if he worries that will linger long-term. "Rick knows how important he is to the future of the organization. He wants to make it work."

Whatever side of the Michkov/Tocchet debate you are on, this has become a tsunami of bad press and a terrible look for the organization. People can talk about the "crazy fans" all they want...the Flyers did a piss poor job of dealing with this on a variety of levels.

@insiderJmoney This is exactly what I started my reflection with. It's a low and doesn't reflect well on Rick as a coach. No matter how right or wrong Michkov might have been, these statements only tear the team apart and give grounds for speculation
