When teachers read and teach Shakespeare to their students, they are giving them a beautiful gift that can be opened and enjoyed for the rest of their lives. Neglecting to introduce students to these great works is like setting a priceless gift within view but just out of reach.

Just a few reasons why Haymes is wrong. 1. At the beginning of Genesis, Scripture provides us an example of right relationship between people. It does not include slavery. When Adam was lonely, God gave him a wife, not a slave. 2. Slavery does not appear in the narrative of

Phone bans in schools motivate kids to read. When a Kentucky district eliminated phones, students checked out 2.3x as many books from the library. At one school, twice as many students borrowed books in the first month as all of last year. Without smartphones, kids get smarter.

Your daily reminder that behavior is a choice. Kids have agency regardless of their circumstances. Treating bad behavior as an inevitable result of circumstances beyond everyone’s control doesn’t help kids.

@DrP_Principal I don’t think I’ve ever heard an educator label a child “bad.” A lot of behaviors are bad, though, and the best way to help the child is to help them eliminate their bad behaviors so they can have healthy relationships.

Mark Driscoll is laughing about how stupid you all are. I attended the main Mars Hill campus off and on for 4 years, and let me tell you, this guy is not a true Christian. The book of James is abundantly clear that our fruits will be a testament if we have truly repented of

“When our schools hyper-focus on “workforce development” rather than providing a well-rounded, robust education to all students, they run the risk of training skilled laborers who lack the knowledge, virtue, and character needed to truly thrive and flourish throughout life.”

Ian didn't read or understand this study. It doesn't find testosterone "makes men do what they know to be right." The study shows testosterone compels men to seek to advance their own status rather than advance the interests of the group. "Right" or "true" isn't even in view.

Higher testosterone makes men do what they know to be right instead of cave to social pressures of doing what others want them to do. Surprise. It’s almost like the decline in testosterone is engineered.

Lot of wrong stuff being said about the Amish. Not true they don’t have autism, not true they are totally unvaccinated etc. They do seem to have lower rates, but some of that is obviously a problem with data collection. But whatever the actual rate, and assuming it’s lower, that

After stoking years of speculation, some of MAGA’s most trusted voices — including Patel, Bondi, Bongino and Trump himself — are suddenly telling their movement: Move along, there’s nothing to see here. But MAGA does not want to hear what they have to say.

Hey @AlaskaAir what's up with your online booking? Can't load seat maps. Won't hold onto information that's been typed multiple times. I'm trying to book flights for a family emergency and you're raising my stress levels. SUPER FRUSTRATING!

So surreal as my feed is filled with obnoxious, self-righteous, far right trad boys complaining about -and- raging against the new Pope, as if their opinions as non Catholics have any weight. These hypocrites are white washed tombs complaining about the adjacent charnel houses.

This is so over the top that I had to make sure someone didn’t cut in shots of the crowd from another event. But it’s real. The relationship between politicians and voters should always be transactional, not worshipful.

Hey @Costco ... Your new muffins are REALLY substandard (especially the chocolate). To put it bluntly, in comparison with your old muffins, the new muffins suck. I'm usually a fan of all things Costco, but this is a product and marketing failure. PLEASE go back to the originals.
