As a Christian, I am purely disgusted by this statement and the reaction to it. Trump is the embodiment of everything we are commanded not to be; a walking, talking picture of the scriptural do-nots. That he has been feted as a champion of the faith is detestable.

Whatâs really sad is how many people are going to try and whitewash MacArthurâs very obvious and public flaws when his poor exegesis, bad theology, power and money resulted in an immature angry misogynist who couldnât be corrected or repent.

Having grown up in homeschooling and the âQuiverfullâ community there were (and are) MANY families that overextended themselves and suffered because of a legalistic view of family planning. Iâve had friends keep their vasectomy operations secret cause the church would disapprove.
I don't want to engage in online debate about this but I'm just going to put this out there in case you need to hear it or talk to someone: it's perfectly OK not to have a large family. And it's perfectly OK for pastors to wisely counsel couples not to be sucked into legalism.

Who boy, itâs about to hit the fan in a big segment of American Evangelicalism and no I have no confidence that anything carrying MacArthurâs legacy will continue.
It was officially announced at GCC today that JMac is about to die. For a great # of us, while we donât rejoice in anyoneâs death, will bring relief & hope that victims who have been too afraid to speak out (some for decades) will finally be able to come forward. Here we go folks.

The thing is itâs not him who is doing it. Itâs important to know there are a BUNCH of people who claim to be Christians who specifically and ideologically WANT to roll back the 20th century. And yes that also means being able to enslave people.
âWhat is so striking in Mr. Trumpâs second term is how much he is trying to undo changes that happened years and even decades before Bidenâs tenure. At times, it seems as if he is trying to repeal much of the 20th centuryâ.
