Time and again we told @NHSEngland & @DHSCgovuk @wesstreeting @SKinnock that this roll out of online consultations isn’t ready. We were ignored. Our concerns dismissed. The software isn’t safe. Here’s some real life examples of what’s going on now. It’s frightening….

Shocking stats coming out from the RCN today. Racism has no place in our society, or in our NHS. Next month we're holding an important event in London exploring this very issue. Find out more & get tickets: https://t.co/ylmlZRJenO

Let’s reject migrant scapegoating and stand together for a better NHS and social care service for patients and staff.
Racism towards nurses has hit a 'crisis point' in the UK. That's the stark warning from the nursing and midwifery regulator. It comes as a report from the Nurses' Union finds that incidents of racism have increased by 55% in the last three years. But with many too scared to

"The number of NHS appointments, tests & operations delivered by private hospitals & clinics has increased by c500,000 this year; now at 6.15 million." Every appointment moved to private hands weakens the NHS we all rely on. This wasn't Bevan's plan. https://t.co/unf56ChvKT

Using spare capacity in the private sector is key to the government’s target of ensuring that 92 per cent of patients in England should wait no longer than 18 weeks from referral to treatment

If Labour wants to touch welfare, they should make it more generous, and linked to a transformed social care system free at the point of use. @keepnhspublic
no Reeves you could improve it but what you mean is you want to make it more oppressive @EndSCDisgrace

Thank you for sharing this. Sorry to hear your experience but it’s so important. This new(ish) government and @wesstreeting are pursuing an ‘apps, tech and AI are the answer to everything’ dangerous path. 20-30% of ppl will be disadvantaged and even more will be short-changed.
First time ever writing about something personal. Please be kind 🙈 My GP told me my diagnosis over text. Is this Wes Streeting’s vision for the NHS?

Our Co-Co-Chair @DrTonyOSullivan told @declassifiedUK: “Israel stands accused of genocide...Govt should urgently seek alternative providers of pharmaceuticals and actively disengage with this company at the earliest opportunity.” https://t.co/1q4qRqcvKZ

Drugs corporation Teva makes one in seven of the medicines prescribed in the UK. It’s also backing the Israeli military during the genocide.

Don't miss today's Morning Star, with a wraparound from us. The NHS already has 100k vacancies, govt now plan to make yet another 100k redundant, including frontline clinical roles. How's this going to shorten waiting lists?!? If it sounds crazy - that's because it is.

The NHS isn't an ‘ecosystem’ to be divvied up between private interests. The NHS is OUR service & must remain THE NHS providing health care for all. We won't let Alan Milburn, Streeting & this Govt downgrade our NHS to the role of just 1 provider amongst private companies.

We absolutely CANNOT afford to return to a system like PFI where private companies profit from the taxpayer at a cost of £billions in interest, often while providing poor service and poor value for money. Repost if you agree 👊 https://t.co/Q0xEt2eYQg

Our own Dr Helen Salisbury - GP and BMJ columnist - makes an excellent point about the government's Ten Year Plan For Health and how funding falls short of what is required. Shifting from hospital to community only works if the capacity exists to support it.

The number of patients on NHS waiting lists rose by 10,000 to 7.3 million in the latest figures today. We have c100,000 NHS vacancies, and govt are now making ANOTHER 100,000 workers redundant - including frontline clinical staff. Make it make sense. https://t.co/IcQN8f1PlS
