It is fairly obvious that humans will turn one or more of the planetary bodies in the solar system into a planet sized manufacturing plant for positrons used on interstellar expeditions. The alternative is dying as a single star species, which I religiously refuse to accept.

Btw if you disagree with Elon, the counterfactual you need to justify is first that there exists even one US government program operating above 80% of the efficiency that its private counterpart does/would. Next, you need to justify that a majority are this way.
My lower bound guess for how much fraud there is nationally is ~20% of the Federal budget, which would mean $1.5 trillion per year. Probably much higher.
