Here's a nugget that I thought went unnoticed yesterday. Tua said that the headset kept going out and he couldn't get the playcalls so he had to decide what to call the field. That could explain some of the hiccups. It's a complex offense. Decent result all things considered.

I feel like Herbert and Allen throwing bombs 65 yards down the field has completely ruined what people perceive as a normal arm.
This is still a 55-yard ball that Tyreek got to work with deep down the field. Why can’t we appreciate it for what it is.

He's not really a TE because he doesn't block, which is kind of a requirement for the Shanahan offense. He's basically a big slot guy. Great hands and catch radius, but he's a kind of mediocre route runner, and is poor at separating. Good weapon overall. Not a fit for the scheme.
