The people calling this movie a flop are genuinely living in their own reality lol, it made back its budget opening weekend and had both the biggest Tuesday and Wednesday of 2025. It won’t make a billion but no DC movie has since Aquaman.

This is literally just basic world building lol, it establishes that things like monsters appearing happens regularly and that Superman has frequently worked with the Justice Gang and knows they’re capable. Plus it’s a cool visual backdrop for the scene.
When a monster is wrecking the city but you remember Space Daddy told you your purpose in life was to bang beautiful women and not being nice to people.
