It was great to spend some time with @aglaird reflecting on the establishment of Westmorland & Furness Council. We’ll be a year old in a few weeks and what a journey it has been, full of challenges, opportunities, passion and pride. Bring on year 2 😁.
This #RadicalReformers chat with @SamPlum4 is well worth a listen if you are interested in how to get complicated things done and/or the importance of council chief execs seeing themselves as ‘place leaders’ not just the exec leader of an individual organisation.

This fantastic collaboration gets underway tonight with a sell out concert in Barrow. I’m incredibly excited that I’ll be there and even more excited to see where this journey takes us. Art and culture has the ability to stir imagination and transform communities 🥰.

🚧‼️ ❄️Kirkstone Pass closed due to snow. We've got some significant snowfalls, particularly in south Lakes and Furness peninsula. All gritters and snowploughs are out but drivers warned of hazardous conditions, particularly on untreated surfaces.
