Where does all the NHS money go? A 💈 Constant wrangling over NHS finances: it’s a bottomless pit - it’s mismanaged - it’s a huge amount - it’s not enough - will never be enough.... Where to start with all of this? Let’s take a look.... 1/15

Threatening our senior lawmakers into accepting assisted suicide, or else...thank you for demonstrating so shamelessly the kind of coercive pressure which my elderly patients will face if the Lords don't stand up to you bullies.

This petition calling for a public inquiry into Russian interference is now up to 13k, and growing fast. It's still early days, but it's notable that the percentage of people signing is highest in Wales. This suggests that media coverage of Nathan Gill was considerably more

Lords role is to scrutinise not to block this bill. It is role of elected MPs to make important public policy decisions. Constitutionally wrong for unelected Lords to frustrate Commons (and go against overwhelming public support for Assisted Dying Bill)

Things we are now being asked to sacrifice for the sake of the AS bill: —The NHS’s founding principles —Hippocratic Oath —Universal suicide prevention —Hospices which want to opt out —Prohibition on the state taking the lives of its citizens —The constitutional role of the Lords

For a former Leader of the House to be community noted for misrepresenting the constitution and respective roles of the two Houses is quite something! Again we see those in favour of this Bill willing to say anything to get this wretched bill on to the statute books.

Rachel Reeves's letting agent forgot to fill in a form so the media had wall to wall coverage for 4 days straight. Nathan Gill a Reform leader and Farage aid is jailed for treasonously taking bribes from Russia, the same media is virtually silent. Why?

What’s unconstitutional is a govt bill (but not trailed in manifesto) masquerading as a private members bill; ministers assisting in voting down amendments in Commons committee; now pretending the Lords have no right to vote to amend or reject the result.

Zack Polanski's economic policies would take us a step closer to the systems in Norway, Finland & Denmark. We'd still have capitalism, have rich people & inequality, just there'd be housing for the homeless & protection for the poor. This for Tories like Gauke is "dangerous."

When is the IFS going to accept its share of responsibility for the idiocy of economic policy post 2010? The coalition government wasn’t ‘populist’ ‘far left’ or ‘far right’ - and Sw1 LOVED it. Yet it was the most damaging government of my lifetime.

Quite. V worrying coming from the leader of an increasingly popular party. The populism of far left and far right have much in common. Pretending there are simple answers, no economic constraints, and always others to blame and others who will pay.

Here is the Sun's pitifully small apology for its lie about benefits tourism - a lie that was accepted as truth by millions and helped deliver Brexit. These lies are perverting our democracy. At a minimum, apologies should be published in the same location and size as the lie.

We’ve been here before. In the early 2000s, waiting times were long and public confidence was sagging. The solution wasn’t a structural overhaul. It was focus.  The Govt chose one priority … waiting times … funded it properly, bought capacity wherever it could be found
