The NHS would have been 70 years old on 5th July. Sadly, it was quietly brought to an end on 27th March 2012, just shy of its 64th birthday. Replaced by CCGs on 1st April 2013, a form of Local Health Service of which there are now 195, it survives only as a brand name.

The present stock of European leaders, indeed, the broader political class, are a load of vacuous, bought and totally compromised stooges. They do not have the capacity to think critically, independently or practically - indeed, it was never in their job description.
European leaders are baffled that the US is not behaving like an "ally". But the US has never considered Europe an ally, it considers Europe to be its bridgehead in the Eastern Hemisphere, with over 200 US military bases. Grasping this is crucial to understanding US behaviour.
