Every EULA that we all agree to for any online service includes this fun section that explicitly states they can ban you for any reason at all, even if they just felt like it. EULA legality is debated but they're effectively legal per existing case law precedent.

They can still play Smash offline so they do own the system, they just can't connect to the Nintendo online service. The EULA they agreed to in order to connect the first time explicitly states you do not own the online service and that your access can be terminated at any time.

Never watched TGC's YT content but I realize I've been missing out. This is a fantastic retrospective and really wowed me with how well it even portrays 90's fandom culture.
Recommended to anyone interested in a deep look at and commentary on an obscure Sonic era and game.

Here's the only copy I seem to have left. If memory serves, it was originally a black text version on top of the Colors art that someone else made. I spruced it up and added the background inside the text. After my edit made it around a few sites, I rebuilt it again from scratch.
