In March, I spoke in the Commons about how difficult it can be for victims of abuse when they have to pay to have their details to be withheld, and therefore their safety to be upkept. I'm so pleased that this Money Wellness campaign that I supported has been successful.

I've been reluctant to share this clip, only because I can't imagine how difficult it is for people from Black and minority ethnic backgrounds to see these sort of speech come across their social media. But there are real world consequences for the sort of rhetoric used below.
Chris Philp had 6 opportunities to condemn Reform MP Sarah Pochin’s racist comments. He refused. This is what the Tory Party has become. Too weak to stand up to Reform. Labour is clear - there is no place for this politics in the Britain we are building.

A year is far too long for Congleton to have been without a Sunday train service. It stops residents travelling - whether for work or leisure - from close to home, forcing them to go outside of the area just to access more reliable transport.

No child should grow up in poverty while gambling companies make record profits. Gambling harms are increasing, yet gambling is VAT exempt. @BeccyCooper4Lab and I wrote to the Chancellor with over 100 Labour MPs to call for increasing gambling taxation to tackle child poverty.

Today I announced the appointment of our country’s first Commissioner for the Tenant Farming Sector, Alan Laidlow. I visited @DavidatWestons farm to see firsthand a successful farming tenancy, his 3,000 acre mixed arable and beef farm and also visited his farm shop. @NFUtweets

I'm aspirational for all young people across our constituency. University isn't for everyone - and I know that there are businesses in the constituency offering great apprenticeships - but removing financial barriers from those most likely to struggle with them is key.
Access to our colleges and universities shouldn’t just be for a wealthy few. That’s why I’m bringing back maintenance grants for those who need them most. Labour is ambitious for all our young people, no matter their background. I’m putting our values into action.
