It was a lot of fun to go down to Florida, and attend “Florida burn” tryout. Can’t wait to put in the work this off season and try and be up to low to mid 90’s. Just happy for the opportunity.

Physicality fuels genuine confidence. No baseball player ever got physically strong and had buyer's remorse. None said, damn I wish I wasn't so damn strong and physical. But there are too many that end their career and realize they weren't strong and physical enough. Your

2/2…beyond the field are all mantras he doesn’t just teach but lives each day. These were my lifelong takeaways. Even though my passion is baseball, I credit Jerry for inspiring me to bring that same concern and passion each day. Thanks and congrats Coach.

Coach Bartell here. Coach Smith is not just a game changer he is a life changer. He convinced me to come out for football as a junior despite never having played football before. So glad he did. Accountability, self-discipline, sacrifice, concern for students…1/2 ⬇️

I see a lot of people saying to throw year round. I have talked to numerous MLB doctors all of different ages and they all say for youth players to take 3-4 months off throwing. Been following this for 19 years of coaching and have had ZERO TJ surgeries. Not arguing with others

Players If your teammates know you're lazy. If they know you don't do the right things off the field. If they know you haven't sacrificed for the team. Don't expect a lot of support from them when you fail in game defining moments. You owe them your best in preparation and

If you can’t play catch with a partner from 60-90 feet away and hit him in the chest almost every single time you should not even be talking about playing college baseball. If you can’t play catch correctly you’re never getting on the field.
