Advice to kids: if you ever get fired, don’t burn any bridges with the person or people that fired you.The same person that was a part of laying me off in 2012 is the same person who carpools with my future supervisor and put in a good word for me. The circle of life..🧐

Adults: you can tweet, debate, argue, etc. about 7v7 alllllllll day and night if you want to. The kids love it. They dictate that whole movement. They like to play with their friends, travel, and compete.......and have fun. So relax..........it's not worth your energy.

IF you are a junior and you know your grades aren't straight...................then cancel those unofficial visits and hit the books harder. You'll ultimately be wasting you and a lot of other people's time if you don't get your grades in order.

To the kids that are struggling with grades: Don't be afraid to ask your parents/teachers for help. Put away your pride and fear, and ask for help instead of continuing to struggle. You don't want to blow an opportunity at a free or reduced price education because of your pride.

Ya'll gotta add that part. Relationships matter. Somebody (or multiple people) usually puts the word out about a kid. College coaches aren't just randomly showing up at games and finding prospects.

I think people assume that every kid has somebody going to bat for them with recruiting. Telling a kid just to show up at a camp with 300 other kids with no prior contact is bad advice.
That’s why I do what I do.

On a personal note: I can’t stress enough how much it’s meant to get love from coaches and players and people I know when I’ve seen them in person. The Most High will see me through this but its great to have people that support you too.
