I’m delighted to be presenting at this years SMC conference alongside @JulieBr333. We will be sharing insights from a lesson study cycle where we focused on teaching subtraction in a multi-composite class. There are lots of great presentations. Ticket sales are open now.

What an amazing way to end the term! Our school, @inshes_ps, worked with @KaplaclubsUK as part of @mathsweekscot and had the pleasure of building a giant whole school construction with Kapla over 2 days! I created this video to capture the fun and learning.

My copy arrived yesterday! It was a real privilege to be asked to contribute to this book. I thoroughly enjoyed working on my section and learning from the contributors of other sections. Thanks to @geoffwake1 and @AkihikoTa for pulling it all together.

What are the implications of this for reporting research findings and their subsequent interpretation by others?.From watching this and discussions at CERME13, there appear to be vast differences in what we mean/understand by the term facilitation. 2/2.@jpmynott @SmartJacques.

Finally caught up on this facilitation Q & A and associated pre-recordings. If you haven't seen it, I recommend it. A few Qs: In LS research, how transparent is the reporting of whether a facilitator +/or KO was present, what their role was and who this person is? 1/2.
