New from our group: the first study to demonstrate that irregular timing of sleep is a *stronger* predictor of mortality than sleep duration in the largest accelerometry cohort to-date (n > 85,000)!

Using objective measures of sleep in a cohort of >60,000 individuals the authors found people with more irregular sleep patterns have a higher risk of premature mortality & that sleep regularity is a stronger predictor of mortality risk than sleep duration https://t.co/kuyapb9bjE

Light is so important for our mental health! Our bodies want bright days and dark nights. Excited to share our preprint showing the powerful influence of light on a huge range of psychiatric outcomes based on objective light measures in >85,000 (!) people. https://t.co/lw1gEFO6nw

Today I received 3 emails. A magazine asks me to review an article for free. A national agency asks me to review a project for them for free. An editorial team asks me to organize a special issue for free. There's something weird about this job, feeding my daughters isn't free.

This photo is amazing. Here are the forms that nursing teams need to fill out for each patient on admission. Ask Joe Public what they want their nurses doing and it defo won’t be this! NUTS
