A couple things that stood out from the ICE oversight hearing playing in the background earlier: - ICE acting director Todd Lyons said 9 people have died in ICE custody since Jan 20. - from Rep. Underwood 41k detention beds funded for Fy24. Current bed count is over 52k beds.
