What a treat to talk to the wonderful children and staff at Rockingham J and I. They listened brilliantly and showed what keen historical brains they had.
Yesterday we had a wonderful opportunity to learn about heritage jobs and careers with Ian from Clifton Park Museum. We learned a little about what the different jobs entailed and then got to look at some amazing artefacts! We made great predictions.

I totally support the National Year Of Reading. We desperately need a culture of reading for pleasure to replace the culture of constant tests in schools, backed by proper government funding. And we need STORYTIME to be part of the school day, every day! (Art @chrisriddell50)

What a fabulous day with the wonderful Richard O'Neil and the amazing children and adults at Canklow Woods Primary. Can't wait for the next session on Tuesday 10th of December.
There's timber to be measured, angles to be created, new words to be learned & written. Design and construction ideas to be discussed, teamwork to be experienced. Woodwork & Wordwork is a beautiful combo. #Lumberjunkers
