#ESCCongress Pericarditis treatment First-Line Therapy π NSAIDs (or aspirin) + colchicine remain the mainstay for treating acute and recurrent pericarditis. π Colchicine should be continued for 3 months after a first episode and 6β12 months for recurrent cases.
