@jon_charb Circle doesn’t maintain an internal ledger. It outsources that role to blockchains. This is what all asset issuers do. Yes they can mint/burn/revoke at will, but being an asset issuer doesn’t mean you are also a ledger keeper. Adding on a new L1 is adding on being a ledger.
