India: the country I grew up in where basic services like ambulances, 911, fire & police depts are nonexistent. It was only a matter of time before a terrible mass calamity exposed the grossly inadequate infrastructure. I feel for my med school classmates that are in the trenches

I cry for the India 🇮🇳. Brutal epidemic ravaging the country, and hospitals are completely overwhelmed. A staggering 300,000 cases—and possibly 10x underdiagnosis means maybe ~3 million actual cases a day. #COVID19
