No doubt the PGA and Monahan were negotiating in 'bad faith' ie never really wanting to do a deal, just buying time until US money could be found. If I'm PIF (LIV's $$ backer), I ramp player acquisition until the PGA is just a domestic tour for US's least interesting golfers.
