OK, what do I really think of #UNGA?. Pre-recording an interview on #UNG78 with @sherwiebp this morning, I went a little off script. (Only joking š)

This sounds a bit unfair in isolation - @UNPeacekeeping has evolved a lot since the Cold War. I've written about that! But we do need to think about how it moves forward in an era of rapid technological change.

Lots I agree with in @tmurithi12 piece, especially need for a real political conversation about where @UN is headed. But while it's true that the P5 can't veto an "Article 109" mega-conference on UN reform, they CAN veto its outcome (Art 109 says so).
As the United States retreats from the UN and the global order, the governments of the global majority need to commit to putting their money where their mouths are if they are serious about reviving multilateralism, argues @tmurithi12 in this piece
