@CWCabelloHavrda I was at the joint AAMPO-CAMPO meeting last year when @CWCabelloHavrda shook the room with her suggestion that our MPOs should be focusing on rail, not just highway expansion. Her boldness is changing minds about transportation in our region, and we are so grateful for her.🚆🚄🚅

High speed rail army stand at attention 🚄🫡
We broke ground on a true high-speed rail line on Monday! Once completed, passengers will be able to travel between Las Vegas and Southern California in just over 2 hours. Here's to seeing that through, and more where that came from.

Judge Brown also announced the creation of the first ever state-wide Texas Passenger Rail Advisory Committee (TPRAC), made up of a variety of professionals, elected officials, and advocates who want to see our state better connected. More to come on this!
