Every German gov colonial flag is awful. None of it even comes close to an average parrot ensign

Grenada certainly made their ensign more colorful, light blue is nice.

This Fulani prince survived the Middle Passage, was enslaved on a plantation in Maryland, gained his freedom, because someone noticed he was literate and had connections to his slave trading father in West Africa. Went back to Africa and returned to slave trading….
Yep, this man is a great example of that. He was a scholar and a prince and remained a practicing Muslim during his time in slavery in Maryland in the 1730s. The idea that Muslims being in the United States is a modern thing is just ignorant.

German colonies. East Africa 5-10%. Using Portuguese comparison. Southwest Africa 30%+ Italian colonies. Libya 40%. Eritrea 5%. Somalia 1-3%. Egypt probably has a 5% max Euro diaspora too. Greeks, Italians, Anglos, French, Germans etc.

Portuguese colonies are weird, since they rushed settlers mid-20th. But probably 10% in each. This however was not normal practice, and in a no WW1 scenario might be more delayed, paced out over time.
