And least now we can finally all agree that Michigan's title in 2023 was built on cheating. The NCAA, The Big 10 and even Michigan themselves admitted they cheated and broke the rules. Title tainted.

The NCAA has it set, in their by-laws, that you can fix games as long as its not a recruiting violation and keep those wins. I'm sure this won't set a negative precedent of any kind.

Bylaws 19.12.7 and 19.12.8 cover "departures" from those penalties, with 19.12.8 giving a list of additional penalties that may be used. But here's the kicker - the bylaws only list vacating wins "in which a student-athlete competed while ineligible." Not for any other reason.

My thoughts on this:. 1. This being the case the 2023 season’s postseason is forever tainted. 2. It took a B1G team outright cheating for the B1G to keep the SEC out of back-to-back National Championship Games.

The NCAA says there were sufficient grounds for a multiyear postseason ban. "However, the panel determined that a postseason ban would unfairly penalize student-athletes for the actions of coaches and staff who are no longer associated with the Michigan football program.".

NEW: From the NCAA's report on Michigan:. "… the true scope and scale of the scheme—including the competitive advantage it conferred—will never be known due to individuals’ intentional destruction and withholding of materials and information.".

Imagine cheating to get to the postseason, but then getting no postseason ban. IMO, this is why Harbaugh did what he did. He knew even if caught since it wasn't a recruiting violation it wouldn't cost Michigan a thing. He saved his job, got his title, and bounced to the NFL.

They were always going to keep the wins because the NCAA is a joke. They took Reggie Bush's Heisman for recruiting violations (and returned it after rule changes), but Michigan keeps its National Title despite blatant cheating. Make it make sense.

“Scandal” is there a single Michigan fan who will admit to wrong doing?. No?. Didn't think so. Y'all are as bankrupt of integrity as your HC was.

Michigan fans who believe Michigan did nothing wrong or didn't benefit from sign-stealing:. 1. Why aren't you upset about unnecessarily wasting resources?.2. Why aren't you upset about your head coach doing something unnecessary and getting himself and others suspended?.

The most overused phrase when evaluating a QB is "he can spin it.". How fast can he learn the playbook?.How much film does he watch?.Does he constantly keep the offense in the right play?.Does he have great composure?.Does he stay focused in the face of pressure?. Most QBs can.

Steve Spurrier was a Heisman winning QB who coached Heisman winning QBs and still says something as stupid as . "The quarterback, he needs to be a good player but he doesn’t have to be one of those guys that has to throw for 300 yards every game.". There are other ways a QB.

If we allowed the Top 8 teams in a conference into the playoffs, as @CoachDrinkwitz suggested, that would be 32 P4 teams.

"Finish in the Top 8 [of the conference] there's a pathway for success there.". Sir, there are 16 teams in the SEC, if you need half the conference to get into the playoffs for you to get into the playoffs you're just not good enough to compete in the playoffs.
